Reports to: Chief Engagement Officer

Hours: 5-10 hrs a week

What we are Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer service-oriented Engagement Officer, who is passionate about improving the governance of our national game for the wider interests of football, to manage our portfolio of clubs across the EFL Pyramid. The individual will be responsible for ongoing account management, working alongside the wider engagement team to ensure first-class service to clubs.

Main Responsibilities

As one of Fair Game’s Engagement Officers, and an Account Manager, you will:

  • Work closely with Fair Game’s Engagement Officers focused on new business to effectively transition new partner clubs and further develop the relationship through strong account management 

  • Deepen relationships with key decision makers internally at Fair Game clubs to ensure Fair Game’s objectives are aligned with daily club business

  • Be the main point of contact for existing Fair Game clubs for any queries related to strategic priorities. 

  • Work collaboratively with the wider engagement team including Chief Engagement Officer and Deputy CEO to ensure Fair Game’s engagement strategy is always evolving, ensuring club experience is at the heart of everything we do

  • Support drafting of collaboration, commercial and partnership agreements. Support the Commercial team in developing and delivering Fair Game’s multi-stream fundraising and partnering strategy.

  • As an organisation, we believe that we are not perfect. We welcome creativity and will always strive to improve.    

What you will Need to Bring

  • Experience in an outward facing sales/business development role is desirable, but not essential

  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent IT and writing skills 

  • Attention to detail and good organisation skills 

  • Experience in negotiation 

  • You will likely be a keen football fan

  • A commitment to Fair Game’s values 

  • A passion to change football for the better
