Fair Game delighted to join forces with EFL in push to make Review reality
FAIR Game are delighted to announce that we will be working hand-in-hand with the English Football League (EFL) in a new drive to get clubs to actively back Tracey Crouch’s Fan-Led Review.
After a series of high-level meetings with the EFL, Fair Game has agreed to mobilise its clubs for a coordinated push to get political support for the Review.
The move follows two meetings held by the EFL board with their member clubs: One with Championship sides, and with the League One and League Two sides.
Niall Couper, CEO of Fair Game, said: “The noise we heard from our clubs was universally positive. And we followed that up with several meetings with the EFL over the last week.
“There is no doubt that ourselves and the EFL are on the same side. We both want to see the Review implemented in full. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and one that must not be wasted.
“We are asking all of our clubs to do all that they can to help mobilise their fanbases to secure political support for the Review. It is now or never.”
Niall Couper added: “I am proud of all the Fair Game clubs. The Fair Game label is a unique stamp. Our clubs have proved to be leaders in the field. They have helped drive the change. We want to see more clubs join our ranks and be part of a growing coalition to improve our national game. We need all clubs to be leaders at this crucial time.”
