Hours: 5-10 hrs a week

What we are Looking For

We are looking for a Chief Communications Officer who is full of enthusiasm and passion and wants to help get the Fair Game message into the hearts and minds of the UK population and the key decision makers in our National Game. We are after an individual who is an inspiring leader with great organisational skills, super powers of delegation, an excellent news nose and an eye for the creative.

Main Responsibilities

As Volunteer Chief Communications Officer, you will:

  • Set clear objectives and manage the Head of Media, the Head of Content, the Newsletter editor and the Comms Planner

  • Ensure Fair Game has the highest profile possible and reacts quickly to breaking news

  • Ensure all our comms and integrated and strategic

  • Support the fundraising and engagement teams

  • Attend fortnightly one-hour meetings remotely with the Senior Management Team

  • Run weekly comms meetings

  • Develop a robust and rolling 12-month comms plan

What you will Need to Bring

  • Experience of working in the media

  • Experience of strategic comms

  • Ability to delegate

  • Good project management skills

  • Line management experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail
