Responsiball and Fair Game seal new partnership
FAIR GAME is delighted to announce a new partnership with Responsiball. Responsiball produce an annual ranking on the environmental, social and governance performance of football clubs in Europe’s top leagues.
The Swiss-based organisation also collects examples of good practices from clubs and associations related to environmental sustainability, community impacts and good governance.
The new partnership will see Responsiball’s rankings fed into Fair Game’s Sustainability Index and will allow Fair Game clubs to benefit from the examples of good practice across Europe.
Niall Couper, CEO of Fair Game, said: “We are delighted to be working with Responsiball. Their values and ethos match ours. And we hope that this new partnership will help re-set football.
“Our Sustainability Index is built using only the most respected data and information, and Responsiball’s data passes that test with flying colours.
“We also believe in providing long-term solutions for football and Responsiball’s good practice library will help our clubs take that next step.”
Fair Game is a group of 34 hard-working professional football clubs across England and Wales campaigning hard to develop long-term realistic solutions to the problems football faces.
Nico Decurtins, from Responsiball, added: “We are happy to support efforts aimed at anchoring ESG issues in the world of football. That's why we did not hesitate when Fair Game asked us to partner up.
“We see great potential for football to take more responsibility for socially relevant issues. Fair Game’s Sustainability Index will make an important contribution to this and we're excited to be a part of its further development.”
