What We Are Looking For

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual eager to shape and lead the volunteering experience at Fair Game. 

This volunteer position is a fantastic chance for someone keen on using their existing skills to get a foothold in the football industry, expand their connections, and help make a real difference to the game we all love.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding process, including interviews, background checks, and orientation

  • Develop and conduct training programs that ensure volunteers are prepared and engaged in their roles.

  • Maintain regular communication with volunteers to ensure they have the resources and support they need.

  • Provide guidance and address any issues or challenges that arise during their volunteer work.

  • Collect feedback from volunteers and stakeholders to improve the volunteer experience.

  • Analyse data and prepare reports on volunteer impact, retention, and satisfaction.

  • Create compelling volunteer position advertisements and distribute them across social media, job boards  and other relevant platform

  • Schedule and conduct initial interviews with prospective volunteers to assess their skills, interests, and fit with the organisation.

  • Coordinate and support department leads in conducting secondary interviews when needed.

  • Maintain detailed interview records to ensure fair and consistent evaluation of all candidates.

  • Communicate interview outcomes and feedback to candidates in a timely and professional manner.

  • Organise and lead induction sessions for new volunteers, providing them with essential information about the organisation’s mission, policies, and expectations.

  • Arrange general training and/or role-specific training as needed to keep volunteers informed and capable in their roles.

What You'll Need To Bring

  • You will likely be a keen football fan 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Cultural competency and the ability to work with diverse groups of people
