Anne-Marie Batson

Anne-Marie is a multi-platform sports broadcaster with years of on-air experience as a presenter, reporter and contributor. As well as presenting on Chelsea Women's Match Day Live show, Anne-Marie has reported on the Premier League, featured on talkSPORT and taken part in numerous podcasts including Guardian Football Weekly. In 2019 Anne-Marie won the Football Black List media award for her services to the game whilst more recently she worked on 'Coming In From The Cold', the award-winning radio documentary looking at the history of black footballers in England.

Kelly Lindsey

A highly respected figure within women's football, Kelly represented the USA as a player and has worked as head coach of both Afghanistan and Morocco. She was also the first ever Director of Women's Football at the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA) and is currently Sporting Director at Lewes FC where she is helping to accelerate the club's development both on and off the pitch.

Farkhunda Muhtaj

As well as captaining Afghanistan's national women's football team, Farkhunda is a humanitarian activist who was instrumental in the success of Operation Soccer Balls, a mission that rescued the Afghan girls' football team from the Taliban last year by flying the players and their families to Portugal. In November 2021 FC Barcelona invited Farkhunda to the Camp Nou to recognise her achievements in fighting violence against women.

    Christina is the co-lead of the Equality and Financial Sustainability Report, Fair Game's Director of Policy and a Principal Lecturer at Portsmouth University. Her current research interests include sport governance and football finance.

    A Senior Lecturer at Portsmouth University, Beth co-led the Equality and Financial Sustainability Report. Her current research interests include equality, diversity and inclusion in coaching and management and the governance and management of women’s elite football.

    John is a former footballer who played as a defender for Liverpool, Tottenham, Wimbledon (with whom he won the FA Cup), Ipswich and Bristol Rovers. He was capped three times by England and is now a Fair Game Ambassador.

    HER GAME TOO

    In 2021 Lucy helped found Her Game Too, an organisation designed to tackle sexism in football. She works for Bristol City Council as a Business Support Officer and is a fan of Bristol Rovers.

    HER GAME TOO

    Like Lucy, Caz co-founded Her Game Too last year. Since then she has overseen the rapid growth of the organisation, which nows works with over 100 football clubs across the UK. Another Bristol Rovers fan, Caz is also a Creative Edit Assistant and Junior Editor at Wildstar Films.

    FOOTBALL BROADCASTER

    With over two decades of experience, Jacqui is a hugely respected broadcaster and one of Britain’s leading sports presenters. Jacqui made history in 2007 as the first female commentator on Match of the Day. She serves on the committee of the Football Writer’s Association and has long been an enthusiastic advocate for women in football.

    BBC PRESENTER

    Anjana is a BBC newsreader, reporter and sports presenter. She currently presents the 1830 news on BBC South Today. A keen footballer, Anjana played for AFC Stoneham Ladies in the FA Cup this season and is a fan of Portsmouth.

    Samantha became only the fourth female director in Altrincham's history in June of last year. She is also Partnerships and Sponsorship Manager at the club and has a reputation for getting things done.

  • Carol Shanahan OBE

    PORT VALE

    Carol is the chair of Port Vale, having bought the club with her husband Kevin in 2019. She is also a member of the EFL Trust Board and the founder of the Hubb Foundation, a charitable organisation with the aim of helping underprivileged children in Stoke-on-Trent.

    Chris is on the board of the Football Supporters' Association as well as being the co-founder and co-chair of the Proud Lilywhites, Tottenham Hotspur's official LGBTQ+ supporters' association. She is also Kick It Out's vice-chair and a trustee of the organisation.

  • Sandy Abi-Elias

    AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL UK

    As a footballer, Sandy played as a forward for the likes of Watford and Swindon Town, as well as representing Lebanon on the international stage. She now works as a Women's Football Officer at Amnesty International, helping football clubs across the UK to integrate female refugees into their programmes.

  • Wubalem Tsegaye

    ETHIOPIAN INTERNATIONAL

    Wubalem Tsegaye fled war-torn Ethiopia in January 2018 and joined Liverpool Feds. She is now an advocate for Amnesty International’s Football Welcomes project and champions the rights of refugees.

  • Comfort Etim

    FORMER SPURS PLAYER

    Comfort, a successful player in Nigeria, was kidnapped as a teenager by a scout promising her a career in England. She eventually escaped and amazingly managed to gain a contract at Tottenham. She now heads Amnesty FC, a team made up of 23 refugees

    Natalie founded Sport Sister in 2021, having previously worked in community sport for more than 15 years. Sport Sister looks to make sport accessible and appealing to female participants. Amongst its clients are the Football Association and the Youth Sport Trust.

  • Emma Eaton

    SURREY FA

    Emma is the Surrey FA’s Football Development Officer (Female Lead). Her ambition is to provide over 5,000 women and girls access to playing opportunities across the county, as well as raising the profile of the amazing off-field opportunities that are available.

  • Amanda Lewis

    LONDON FA

    Amanda is the Football Development Manager for Women & Girls at the London FA. She helps run the 'Female Friendly Clubs' training, an online workshop aimed at helping football clubs to create the right environment to grow female participation.
